How to Install Jedi Temple: Order 66 Mod on Star Wars Battlefront 2

You are probably looking at this post right now because you saw me Star Wars Jedi Temple: Order 66 video where I murdered countless clone troopers in my desperate attempt to entertain you. If you haven't seen it, please do check it out up there!

Now, for those of you who have seen it, then you are here because YOU want to know how to get this exact same mod on your copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2. You've come to the right place! Due to the high demand for detailed instructions on how to do this, I have decided to make a blog and create an in-depth, easy to understand guide for you guys!

First off, I'd like to say that I, in no way whatsoever made the mod or assisted in the production of it. I give full credit to the creator Taljin, for the creation of this magnificent mod that I played for a very long time. Neither did I make the "how-to" videos listed in my video's description box. I only take credit for putting the video together, and for the making of this guide and the screenshots. Now without further ado, let us begin!

*Note: My guides are based on the functions and properties of Windows 7/Vista, however they are similar with those of the older versions of Windows. If my instructions differ from what is shown in your version, you may have to go through extra steps to install this mod.

Step 1

I assume you already have your copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2 installed and updated to the latest patch (1.1). If you haven't done that, stop reading right now and go install that bad boy.

First, you have to add a mod folder (in this case an addon folder), and to do this you have to locate where you installed your game. By default, it should be My Computer/Local Disk C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Battlefront II/GameData. Here you will create a folder by right clicking, and hitting New Folder. This folder MUST be named "addon". Without the quotation marks, no spaces, no capitals. Picture below for clarity:

If the text and picture are not enough, fear not! I have a video made by a youtuber that goes by the name of Rorako who was thoughtful enough to make a video on this step. I did not make it:

Step 2

Alright, now that you have your addon folder ready, it is time for you to download the Jedi Temple: Order 66 mod map. First, you need to get a program called WinRar, you can get it HERE If you have any other program that can process zipped files than you can skip downloading that. This is so that you can extract the contents of the zipped file that you will be downloading. Now onward to downloading the map.

I'd like to correct myself here, the mod map itself is actually called Coruscant (Jedi vs Clones), back when I made my video, I was ignorant and decided to name my video so it sounded better and looked more flashy. However, that is it's real published name. You can download it HERE If, for whatever reason, you can't click that link, check the description on my Jedi Temple video, it should be listed at the very bottom.

Once you have it downloaded, open the zipped file up (should be named jvc.zip) with WinRar (or whatever your preferred program is), you should now see a folder called JVC, a readme text file, and a bunch of screenshots. Like below:

Now open up the addon folder you made, and extract (or just drag and drop!) the JVC folder into the addon folder.

Once the JVC folder is in your addon folder you are done! You have officially installed the Coruscant (Jedi vs Clones) mod map onto you computer! Woooo! *applause* Now for the final step.
Step 3

Now all you have to do is fire up your game, go to Conquest, and in the maps section, you should see a map called Coruscant (Jedi vs Clones) or JVC listed. All you have to do now is select it, and start a round, and enjoy forcing a lightsaber through a clones armoured chest! If you fail to see the map listed on the list, then chances are that you messed something up, and you should back-track through all the steps listed.

There you have it folks! A complete detailed guide answering the most frequently asked question ever in all my videos! And no people from the Land of the Consoles, this will NOT work on your PS2! Unless some genius hacker found a way to put mod maps onto your PS2's hard drive, I believe no known technique has been made. I would like to thank you all for watching my video and taking your own time to read through this, and I hope you enjoy the map! One of my first and most favourite maps ever! Purenain signing out.
